Our Story
Founded in 2008 by Chris Schiro and Steve Uribes with the goal of becoming an industry leading service provider, Schiro Construction, Inc. offers commercial wood framing, metal stud framing and drywall. Through hard work and a service-based philosophy, we continue to grow each year.
Our Mission

We exist to provide service based subcontracting to General Contractors in the construction industry. Our vision is to support the growth of our company by focusing our attention on making our clients look good. We feel we achieve this through:

Our Philosophy
Building trust is the most important aspect of our business.
We are able to do what we do best by developing meaningful relationships with the General Contractors we work with. The trust we build starts in the office with our executive team, and continues throughout the project with our crews in the field.

Steve Uribes, VP of Operations
Chris Schiro has been in the construction industry for over thirty years. He has experience in both residential and commercial construction, however after doing both he discovered his passion for the commercial construction side early on. Chris believes one of the most important parts about being the CEO of Schiro Construction, Inc. is taking care of the employees. “If we ensure our employees feel good about the company, themselves, and what they do, they will do their best to ensure our clients are also taken care of.” This belief and business practice has allowed Schiro Construction, Inc. to offer top tier service while maintaining a high standard of fulfillment for our employees and clients.
Steve has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. One of the things that gives Steve a sense of fulfillment in the industry is the sense of accomplishment he gets when a project is complete. He loves the excitement of knowing the owners will enjoy the finished project for years to come. Steve is a great carpenter who enjoys every opportunity to help teach our crews new ways to solve complex problems in the field. Our team strives to be better at their jobs because they have Steve out in the field inspiring them to constantly gain more job knowledge. Outside of work Steve loves every opportunity to get outdoors and go camping, especially when he is able to do that with his family.
